My lovely friend, the storyteller and journalist Lena Reich had the opportunity to create a museum for trash. Yes: For commodities that become obsolete and end up in trash-bins … or around the city.
She came up with the lovely story about Ruby, the daughter of a Romanian migrant worker. I was able to translate her story into a visual concept and later on into a shortfilm.
I produced a mood-film to show off what could become of “Ruby”. But unfortunately, time run short while producing, so we ended up, making a short version with the highlights of Ruby’s lucid dreams – inside a world so full of trash and hardships.
